Had a pretty good day today. HM2 says +225 but it's actually way better than that. My bankroll to start the day was around $100. Then, I managed to cash out from BitConnect, a super shady site that I stupidly put like $200 into (Bitcoloan). So I managed to take out $180 today, which I deposited onto Sports Betting. So that put my bankroll at $290. I then deposited another $80 via e-transfer, so that gives me $370. Anyway, I decided to take a shot at PLO $25 (and PLO $10) and so over 2000 hands I won $228. Almost doubling my bankroll. Well 60% bankroll growth. Something like that. Anyway, this is so incredible because now it gives me almost 24 buyins for PLO $25. And a little more bankroll growth and my ROR will be quite small. So the reason why this is such a big day is because I was first able to cash out from the Bitcoloan scam and then able to gain such massive bankroll growth. And yes, I did take a shot without the full bankroll, but now at least I have 24 buyins.

Alright, so let's plan for the future. Well, first of all I want to grind hard tomorrow. I think I will not have a plan to move down to PLO $10. This is because at PLO $10 only it is hard to get enough tables, and hard to obtain a large enough hourly. That being said, I do want to spend some time at PLO $25 before moving up. I think $1500 is a reasonable goal. 30 buyins at PLO $50. Then drop back down to PLO $25 at $1000.

results

So as you can see, phenomenal results so far. The most important thing is that I have made it to 30.5 buyins for PLO $25. This is extremely exciting for me because I started at only 12 buyins, and even there 7 of those buyins were "found" money that I managed to pull out of Bitcoloan before they exit scammed. At this point I am feeling pretty safe about my bankroll, although obviously some extremely big downswings are possible.

ugh! struggling today. -$54.65 over 500 hands. I think I have been playing okay, just running substantially below EV. On the bright side I have put in decent volume so far. $46 below EV, including this hands :

Okay, maybe I shouldn't dwell on bad beats, even if I was a 70% favourite. They happen. Let's do something a little more productive and look for a hand to do some analysis.

So, I think preflop is pretty self evident. We have a strong hand. CO is a very loose aggro whale. His RFI from CO is actually 93%, (64% PFR in general). We should three bet this hand against anyone, but against a 100% range we are presumably doing better. Anyway, the key decision here is the flop. Do we check fold? Bet fold? Bet stack off? I guess bet stack off is okay.

$810! A new height to my bankroll. We are now looking at 32.5 buyins for PLO $25. First off, only 10 am and I have already put in 500 hands volume. So that is a great start to the day. Plus huge results, highest win/rate per 100 yet. $17 above all in ev. Yesterday was a real struggle. Losing all day, and heavily losing. At one point down $150. Finally right at the end of the day, as I was getting tired, I managed to hit some big hands and get almost even. So between almost recovering yesterday, and then today running very hot over my initial few hours, feels great.

Pre I am unsure about. Against tough opponents it is probably a fold. Since MP and BU are both extremely wide here (MP is 85/45, and could easily be opening at 60%+, likewise BU is an 80% VPIP whale so flatting the vast majority of his range here. BB is also loose passive whale, 70% vpip. So potentially this hand might do better vs these crazy ranges.
